Q: How do I book with Sandy Paws?

A: Head over to our services page to learn about all of the services we offer! Once you’re on your service, head to our booking page to shoot us your requests!

Q: How long does it take to hear back from Sandy Paws after submitting a request?

A: Please allow 24-48 hours (during the weekdays Sunday-Thursday) for a response.

Q: Can I request specific sitters/walkers?

A: Absolutely! We love to create long-lasting pet-friendly relationships! With that being said, we cannot guarantee your preferred sitter/walker is always available- but we can guarantee our other employees are just as paw-some!

Q: Do you have an app?

A: We have a user-friendly online platform, Pet Pocketbook. At the moment, the platform is only in website form — not app ready!

Q: How early should I submit a booking request?

A: Feel free to submit your request whenever! We recommend submitting your request within 1.5-2 months before your desired date to give yourself a better chance of having a sitter!

Q: Do you have a location?

A: No! Sandy Paws is a personalized pet-care service! We come to you or the pets come to our certified sitters’ homes!

Q: How often can I anticipate a Sandy Paws’ sitter being in the home with my pet during their stay?

A: Sandy Paws employees love spending time with your sweet pets, but also have other obligations outside of this. We can assure you our sitters are giving your pets all of the love, attention, and care they need. We allow our sitters to be outside of the home during their stays: Minimum, of 3 hours at a time. Maximum, of 6 hours at a time (unless specified differently).

Q: Can I book Sandy Paws for daycare or full day needs?

A: No. We do not operate as a facility/kennel so we are unable to commit to 24/7 care, daycare services, or windows less than 2 hours of time away from the pet/home.

Q: When will I receive my invoice from Sandy Paws?

A: Invoices are sent directly to your email from our automated program, every Monday. Regardless of the date/extension of your pet’s service, the invoices are set Monday-Monday from Petpocketbook.

Q: How do I pay?

A: We accept credit card through Petpocketbook, Venmo (@sandypawschs), Cash or Check.
